3–2–1 Newsletter
Bringing ideas, inspiration, and sketchnotes to you every week.
Hey friends! This week I tried using Google Gemini for my prompts, but the results were not what I expected, so I went back to Midjourney, the image generator I still think is the best. I’ve always loved GitHub’s contributions activity graph so this week’s idea imagines what it would look like if designers had their own version in Figma. And finally, I end this week’s newsletter by going back to the basics and drawing a phone in 100 different ways.

100 Telephones
In my 10–20–30 Challenge, I reference a video by Dan Mall. He recalls a design school assignment where students had to draw a telephone in 100 different ways. I love this exercise because it forces you to think creatively and look at things differently.
